It's been a long time since I've posted anything on my boy's blog. So I thought I'd do a little update. Since Halloween, a lot has gone on. We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house this year, and that was a lot of fun. James always has fun at his Grandma Cookie and Papa's house. Especially when Aunt Ronnie's family comes. He loves her sons, Ryan and Joey. And these aren't little boys. They're grown men with families of their own. But they're always so kind and loving with James. They talk to him about movies and they listen to his sound effects. It's great. They're wonderful men. I love those boys! Also in November, We had some family pictures taken. Here are a few:

James was The Dark Night for Halloween this year. He was really excited. He went trick-or-treating with his sisters and best-bud Seth. Then, we went to Seth's aunt's house and did some trick or treating there, and got to watch a really cool version of Thriller. After that, we came home and went to the neighborhood spooky house, and saw a werewolf and a evil scare crow. James had a blast this year. Happy Halloween James!
Class Halloween Party
Here are a couple of pictures from James's class Halloween party. We had a lot of fun. Mrs. Cotterell (Alex and Jayce's mom) brought some mini chocolate cup cakes, and read 2 stories to the kids. Then, Mrs. Brickey (Ryan's mom) did a fun craft with the kids. They decorated foam pumpkins with glitter glue. We also did a fun game of pin the nose on the pumpkin. The kids were really good and we all had a fun time.
Egg Drop
Okay, so I'm really behind on blogging for James. I know, I know. I'm a slacker. But I'm working on fixing that. I needed to send out permission forms to the kids in James's class so that I could post their pictures on the blog, too. We got them back, so now I can put their pictures up. Here are some pictures from the Egg Drop at the kids school.
This is Alex and his brother Jayce. Their egg survived, and they were very excited.
Hayden's egg also survived. The boys were really excited about the egg drop. Way to go boys!

I'm not your slave....
Sometimes James says stuff that would get a "normal" kid in trouble. But when he can put these things together, a part of me is proud of him. We had one of these moments yesterday. My parents (wonderful people that they are) brought us lunch from Burger King. After we were done eating, James left his wrappers on the table. I said, "James, I'm not your slave." Which is code in our family for, clean off your trash/plates/whatever you left on the table. James laughs and says, "Yes you are." I couldn't help it, and neither could my parents. They started laughing, and so did I. It was too funny. Now if my "typically developing" kids had said that, they would have gotten in trouble. James says it, and I'm like, "Oh my gosh! He put it in the right context, and he even laughed at it. That was great!" It was a good day.
